PRODUCTS

The overall production of the P.O. Sole e Rugiada S.A.C.p.A. it is represented by I and IV range horticultural products placed on the domestic and foreign market.

The cultivation systems are mainly focused on soft leafy vegetables such as valerian, chicory, rocket, baby spinach, lettuce, varieties of oriental brassicas (all produced in protected cultivation) and head vegetables such as chicory, radicchio, brassicaceae, lattuche, liliaceae, endives etc. (grown in open field).

The range is completed by other products of which O.P. has the recognition: tomatoes, onions, shallots, garlic, leeks and other garlicky vegetables; white and red cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower; carrots and other edible roots; peas, beans and other legumes; asparagus, aubergines, celery, peppers; spinach, chard and cardoons, fennel, courgettes and artichokes.

PRODUCTION REGULATION

 

The Production Regulations contain the rules that our members must follow to cultivate in a sustainable way, protecting the environment and natural resources and workers.

The content of the specifications is approved by the Competent Authorities and are necessary for the correct application of good agronomic practices and Voluntary Integrated Defense and are renewed annually.

CERTIFICATIONS

 

All agricultural products of OP Sole and Rugiada are certified according to the DT3 reference, grown following the principles of “integrated pest management”. With this choice we ensure a pesticide residue level below 30% of the legally permitted ceiling.

SUSTAINABILITY

 

Sustainability for OP Sole e Rugiada’s shareholders means the choice and application of clear and responsible activities aimed both at the sustainable supply of raw materials and the conscious use of natural resources and at the protection of people’s needs starting from respect for rights to create a positive work environment.

The Sustainability Policies pursued by the members take their cue from the International Conventions and in particular from the Universal Declaration of Human Rights of the UN, from the Global Agenda for Sustainable Development and the related 17 SDGs, from the regulations of the International Labor Organization, and from the guidelines of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development.

AGRONOMIC SERVICE

 

The technical pool of our agronomists provides members with technical assistance in the field and at the same time carries out training for our members also for the application.

It also periodically draws up bulletins that provide agricultural companies, their technicians, consultants and all interested parties with useful information to prevent the spread of diseases affecting crops (based on forecasting models) and to comply with the constraints of mandatory integrated pest management. and voluntary.

Of no secondary importance is the planning of the production of the members and the supervision of compliance with the Production Regulations and the Regulations for integrated and / or biological pest management.
